Unit 10 By the time I got outside, the bus had already left. The first period ( 1 ) 学习范围:Section A 1a---1c 教学目标: 1.Master key words and sentences: By the time,gotton, oversleep overslept 2 master the past perfect tense. 3.Improve listening and speaking skills 重点: 时态,过去完成时。能用这个时态写出正确的句子。 掌握单词和短语。 难点:提高学生的写作技巧。过去完成时态。 学情分析:学生前面现在完成时的学习,对本单元的过去完成时的理解和使用有了一定的基础,但是对于本课听说训练还是有一定的难度,所以我尽量减轻学生的学习负担,给他们提供有梯度的任务给他们减压,让他们学有所得,提高各方面的能力。 学法:Cooperation and communication 教学流程: 内容 设计 意图 流 程 Step 1. Have a free talk Work in pairs: What volunteer work would you like to do? I’d like to…/ I love to…/ I hope to… Step 2. Section A 1a This activity reviews vocabulary and introduces new vocabulary which can be used to narrate past events. Ask several students to describe what they see in the picture. Ask students to talk about the pictures in groups. Discuss the following questions in groups. What do you usually do in the morning before school? Do you like mornings? Why or why not? Step 3. Section A 1b This activity provides practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation. First, to learn the Past Perfect Tense. Say: You will hear a conversation. Listen to Tina talking about her morning. Complete the sentences. Play the recording for the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording again. Say: Now complete the sentences. Check the answers. Step 4. Section A 1c Pair work This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language. Get two students to read the sample conversation to the class. Pay attention to the target language. Pair the students. Ask students to have conversations about Tina in the pictures. Take turns to be Tina. Ask a few students to present their conversations to the class. Step 5. Grammar focus Ask different students to read the sentences to the class. Ask a student to read the words in the Look! box. Make a
