T he ca lculat ion resu lts show that the pounding tmi es and respon se peak valu es of the bridge superstru cture are increased obviou sly w ith augm ent ing p eak acce leration s. The jo int pounding affects the seism ic respon ses, and the c learance of expan sion jo int and the span ra tio affects the pound ing response a lot.
