Good nutrition and health is not only the foundation of social economic development, but also the important goal of social economic development. Many countries in the world, especially the developed countries are regularly carry out national nutrition and health survey, the survey results issued in a timely manner, and make evaluation of relevant social development policies, to improve the nutrition and health status, promote the coordinated development of social economy. China was in 1959, 1982 and 1992 respectively conducted three national nutrition survey in 1959, 1979 and 1991 respectively; carry out the three national epidemiological survey on hypertension; 1984 and 1996 were conducted respectively in two diabetes survey.
