Department of Physical Education, Liaochen University, Liaochen 252059, China) Abstract: In this paper , throu h the statistics of the medals in the complicated and performin sports items from the 1- 27th Olympic Games, and analysis of the trend of the competition of ames. The conduction is thus reached as the followin : 1) the com plicated and performin sports items of the medal- ains are mainly from European, Asia and America. The Europeans are the ma jority. In the competitive ymnastics Europe and Asia take the lead. 2) The development tendency in the roup of complicated and performin sports is from sin ulatism to mutilatism. 3) The former Soviet, Japan, Germany dominate in man competitive ym nastic, and the former Soviet, German, Romania are stron in the woman competitive ymnastic.
