肾上腺皮质癌的诊断与治疗（Diagnosis and treatment of adrenal cortical carcinoma） Diagnosis and treatment of adrenal cortical carcinoma Update Date: 12-07 #e# [Key words] adrenal gland Abstract: Objective: To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of adrenal cortical carcinoma. Methods: the clinical data of 19 patients with adrenal cortical carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed. 19 cases of this group were examined by B-ultrasound (19 cases), CT (17 cases) and IVP (6 cases). All cases were treated by operation and proved by pathology. Results: 16 cases were diagnosed before operation, and 3 cases were not diagnosed. The diagnostic rates of B ultrasound and CT were 68.4% (13/19) and 76.5% (13/17), respectively. The average survival time was 31.3 months, the 3 year survival rate was 15.8% (3/19), and the 5 year survival rate was 11.8% (2/17). Conclusion: adrenal cortical carcinoma has a high degree of malignancy. Imaging is the key to the diagnosis. Early detection of radical resection is the only effective way to improve the survival rate. Result:Accuracy rate of diagnosis by BUS and CT was (13/19) and 76.5% (68.4% 13/17 respectively. The mean survival duration), was 31.3 months, The 3- year survival rate was 15.8% (3/19), 5-year survival rate was 11.8% (2/17). Conclusion:Adrenocortical carcinoma is a lethal malignancy, Radiologic evaluation is the key way.Earlier detection and complete initial surgical resection may be the best treatment at present.
