Methods the rat model of hemorrhagic shock before 24 hours in advance, rats were given intraperitoneal injection 2 times 25 g/kg pinacidil pretreatment, pretreatment observation on heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP), left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP), isovolumic systolic blood pressure (IP), maximal rate of left the rise and fall of the ventricular pressure (+ dp/dtmax), peak systolic velocity (VPM) and the measured myocardial systolic ring area (Lo). Results pretreatment significantly enhanced cardiac function, HR, MAP and LVSP were significantly higher in the observation phase than in the control group. The values of dp/dtmax, VPM and Lo reflecting the contractile and diastolic properties of the myocardium were higher than those in the C group. Conclusion pretreatment with piracetam can improve the hemodynamics of hemorrhagic shock and reduce the cardiac function damage caused by hemorrhagic shock in rats.
