Through the in estigation and analysis of the features of Lake Tuo ecosystem, the interactions between the lakes of ri er est iged lowlying land type along the banks of Huaihe Ri er and the lakeside farmland ecosystems were studied. In order to maintain the ecological balance and the sustainable use of resources in Lake Tuo, measures were put forw ard to safeguard the farmland system and the soils along the lakeside.
