The definition of cardiomyopathy : a primary type, consisting of myocardial disease of unknown cause 2. Classification of cardiomyopathy: (1) DCM–dilated CM (扩张型心肌病) (2) HCM– hypertrophic CM (肥厚型心肌病) (3) RCM– restrictive CM(限制型心肌病) (4) ARVD/C – arrhythmogenic right ventricular CM (致心律失常型右室心肌病) 3. Specific CM (原因明确): a secondary type, consisting of myocardial disease of known cause or associated with a disease involving other organ systems. For example: (1) alcohol cardiomyopathy (2) peripartum cardiomyopathy ( 3) Keshan’s Disease (4) drug-induced cardiomyopathy (二) clinical classification of CM 三. dilated cardiomyopathy (一) character: left and/or right ventricular systolic pump function is impaired, leading to cardiac enlargement and often producing symptoms of congestive heart failure.
