The curing characteristics of the nano 2 SiO /epoxy resin system were researched. The effects of nanoSiO content on reaction temperature, gel fraction, 2 2 dimension of the cured area and dynamicmechanicperformance of the electron beam (EB) cured epoxy resin system were investigated. T he results show that the exothermal peak of the curing system decreases with the increasing of nanoSiO content, and a small amount of nanoSiO particles contribute to increasing the dimension of the cured 2 2 area, gel fraction, glass temperature and high temperature modulus. T he growth mechanism of the system with nanoSiO particles is similar to that without nanoSiO particles, although thepropagation path of EB is changed by
