A series of concrete specimens w as exposed in a loaded state in a container filled w ith 3. 5% sodium chloride solutions for 30, 70, 120, 200 days, and the effect of flexural loading w as est-i mated from chloride ingress level. The results show that the effect of the flexural load increases the permeasion of chlorides into concrete. There is also a relationship betw een D (t)and the load- ing level.
