The introduction defines heaven and man.That is，the relationship between man and world.The increasingly archilogical materials reveal to us that the “heaven”in Xunzi’s thoughts like those in Confucius and Mencius is hidden with many meanings such as nature of the day，dominate the day and argumentation days.Xunzi’s heaven and man , based on the ancestors’ also with his own contents, have a high place in the whole philosophy system and become the theory basis for his thoughts. His defination of “heaven”,“man” put forward the thoughts of “understanding the distinction between heaven and human”,“adapting the law of heaven and making ues of it”and“people born into”and reflects his philosophical spirits and sophiscated wisdom,also the social conditions of his times.
