Seismic response of a structure w ith left tow er of 45 stories and right tow er of 0 stories is analyzed by using the softw are ET ABS. The curves of periods, vibration modes and displacements w ith changing number of the base from tw o stories to thirty stories w ere obtained. T he vibration modes are obviously different and periods are decreased at the beginning and are increased in the end as increasing of the base story . T he tendency of displacements of both taller and low er tow ers is similar to the periods. Large displacements are caused w hen the base floors are too few . On the contrary, increasing periods and displacement at top w ere caused when the base floors are too many.
