第二讲 形容词 副词;形容词;原级比较;原级比较;quite 常可用来修饰as…as…结构： Eg. The book is quite as interesting as you expect. as…as后直接加表示时间，距离等的名词，不可插入介词． Eg. The poem was written as early as in the fifth century. This is the more expensive of two cameras.;2.形容词比较级前可以加程度状语如much, far, hardly, no, a lot, still, ever, a little, a great deal,来修饰， Eg. The book is little more difficult than that one. Eg. Your bicycle is far better than mine. Eg. A still more diligent student he is.;3.“越来越…”与“越…，越…” 比较级 + and + 比较级（越来越）, the +比较级，the+比较级（越…，越…） Eg. Our country is getting stronger and stronger. Eg. The more learned a man is, the more modest he usually is. Eg. The sooner you get it done, the more benefit you will get.;4.表示比较意义的词汇: next to, over, above, preferable to, preference for, junior to, senior to, superior to, inferior to, prior to (注意后面的介词） Eg. This decision is next in importance to that none. Eg. I have a preference for English to German.;5.比较级中 “than” 的用法 １）more than 表示“不止，超过”的含义 Eg. She is more than pretty. Eg. I more than saw it, I touched it too! 2). “more…than”表示“与其说…，还不如说…” Eg. Jack is more honest than silly. Eg. He is more a fool than a knave.;6.比较级用于否定表示“最…不过”(最高级） Eg. There is nothing better. Eg. The situation could not be worse. Eg. You could give no greater pleasure.;7. more of + a+名词+than+… =“A 比B 更…” Eg. She is more of a musician than her brother.
