Abstract This thesis is a survey on second year senior students in Dongming Middle School. During the author’s teaching practice, the author did a survey on 71 second year senior students to find how they think of group work, how they do group work, what and how the teacher does when they do group work. From survey and analysis, the author got that most students like group work. And they think group work is important for English learning. At the same time, they think group work has many advantages. In group work, they have more opportunities to express their ideas. What’s more, they can get other’s strong points to make up own demerits and shortcomings. Some think that group work is a good way to inspire interest, improve oral English, and cultivate study ability. It is good for communication and cooperation. It eases the tense of classroom atmosphere and activates classroom atmosphere, it makes the class become more comfy, easy and active. Besides, group work needs teacher’s participation. Teacher plays an important role in students’ group work. Key words: group work; communication; cooperation 摘 要 本文主要是对东明中学高二年级使用小组合作学习的情况进行的调查与分析。作者利用实习,在高二年级七十一个学生中进行了调查,其目的是为了了解:1)学生对小组学习的看法;2)学生是如何进行小组学习的;3)教师在小组学习中起到了什么作用。 通过调查,得知学生们都很喜欢小组学习,他们觉得小组学习很重要。小组学习对他们有很多益处,给他们提供了更多表达观点的机会;有利于合作与交流,可以取长补短;可以激发他们的学习兴趣;提高他们的英语口语表达能力;可以缓解课堂气氛,带来一个舒适、轻松、积极的学习环境。同时,小组学习也需要老师的参与,老师在小组学习中扮演了不可或缺的角色。 关键词:小组学习;交流;合作 Contents 1.
