An instrument was developed, asking questions about future of higher education specifically related to the cross disciplinary knowledge. Findings indicate that executives maintain very high opinions concerning the value of cross-disciplinary knowledge as a critical contributor to the successful cross-disciplinary operation of their businesses. They seem to understand clearly that science and technology may not benefit their businesses unless it is applied in a cross-disciplinary manner. Executives’ priorities on cross-disciplinary knowledge domains are revealed and discussed in detail with implications and further research issues.
