At this period of public crisis happened frequently, it is difficult for the government has its efficient and orderly management. As a social and community organizations at the grass-roots level, has the responsibility and may play an important role in public crisis management. Based on the literature research method, on the basis of public crisis management theory, summarizes our country city community crisis management present situation, how to explore urban community with its unique advantages to resolve contradictions, eliminate crisis, maintain social stability. This article first analyzes the urban crisis management in government limits, borrow and lead to the unique advantages of community participation in urban crisis management, put forward to strengthen the construction of the urban community public crisis management capability.
