APQP Implementation ProcessImplementation process flow chart.General descriptions:Define APQP team member and the owner of each process. A cross function team should be set up, the members should come from Engineering, Manufacturing, RD, Purchasing, Quality, Marketing, Service and the representative from customer and supplier if needed.Project manager appointment.The Project manager may change base on APQP different phase, the project manager should take the responsibilities as following at beginning of project:Define task allocation for team members from different functions.Determine Customer: External or Internal Customer.Final customer requirement with QFD (Appendix 1).Review project scope, confirm suitable team members.Lead team to review customer requirement, list the customer requirement and get confirmation from customer.Lead the Project feasibility analysis (with team member), include:Design requirementProduct function requirement.Manufacturing requirement.Cost and technical requirement.Confirm project cost, schedule and other potential limits. (The limits: law, culture, etc..)Confirm the supports that come from customer, list them to customer and get the confirmation.Documentation and Method.Contact MatrixContact matrix among team members, communicationchannel with customer or supplier.Set up regular project review meeting.Training: Proper training should be delivered to team member.If needed, customer and supplier should join the APQP team.Develop prototype (if needed)Control PlanPreliminary flow chartDFMEAPrototype control plan (if prototype needed), The prototype will provide dimension measurement, material and product functional testing result.Production layout.Pre-launch control plan.
