Final Report of Business ResearchEvaluation of Renren on users?sociability, privacy and information acquisition Abstract: Currently social networks have played an increasingly vital role in the life of young generation.This research, using Renren as an example, targets at evaluating psychological value of social networks by assessing the price and users?satisfaction of Renren.Analysis of real perception and behavior of 81 college students demonstrates that sociability and online hours have significant effect on students?evaluation of Renren.Implications of the finding and some limitations are discussed. Introduction Nowadays social networks have become an irreplaceable part of people抯 lives.Instead of traditional communication channels, people rely more on those platforms to keep in touch with friends and colleagues.Thus social network sites (SNS) such as Sina, WeiBo, and Renren become popular especially among the young generation.Related researches abroad evaluating social networks?value are available so that some conclusions of social networks value can be reached.Compared to foreign status quo, however, researches on China抯 social networks are far less both in number and maturity.From that point, there are no clear evaluation of domestic social networks?social value and impact.The research intends to use Renren as a sample to determine suitable charge.Specifically, the research tends to use setting price as a method of assessing the position and value of interpersonal communication in people抯 minds since the finding the ideal price is a better and more feasible way to represent its intangible value.The interrelation between factors like social ability and cognition of Renren抯 value can be understood afterwards.Besides, the research sums factors that affect the degree of satisfaction, which can be useful when the operators of Renren expect to improve their service or design.Therefore, the research has important application value and practical significance
