When a rotor rotates around its axis, centrifugal force is produced because of uneven distribution of the quality around the axis. When the unbalancing centrifugal force transmit to the bearings, it will cause vibration and noise, which will accelerate the speed of wearing of the bearings. As a result of that, the longevity and performance of the products will be seriously decreased. Based on the data measured by the balance machine, we can amend the unbalance quality of rotors balancing, by which the distribution of the quality around the axis can be optimized. So the vibration of rotors or the vibrating forces exert on the bearings can be reduced to the permitted range. Balancing machines spindle is the main parts of balancing machines. The design of spindle is directly related to the performance of balance machine, so the calculation and analysis of the spindle is very necessary. In the paper we take the engineering application as a background, using the finite element analysis software to simulate and analyze the CB 1200 dynamic balancing machine’s spindle.
