1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Scope
1.1.1 The QA Department Manual (herein after refers to as “QADM”) covers activities pertinent
to Quality Assurance Management. It also outline the QA Department Organization structures,
functions and objectives, personnel responsibilities and the administration and implementation of
the Project Quality System in regards to the use of specific QAP’s (QA Procedures), Inspection
Test Plans and other associated Quality Control Procedures as referenced in the Project Quality
plan (PQP).
1.2 Purpose
1.2.1 The QADM provides an overview of the QA department’s Target and Objective and personnel
responsibilities towards administration and implementation of the Project Quality Plan. It also
aim at providing references for indoctrination of new employees, attachés and QA inspectors in
their daily execution of the Project and Departmental activities as underlined in the KFELS
Quality System.
1.3 Definition
1.3.1 KFELS Quality System.
A documented Business process Quality System geared towards achieving the following goals.
- To achieve Customer Satisfaction
- To realized continuous improvement
- To ensure safety through Safety Management System.
