As a novel neurotransm itter, nitric oxide plays a signif icant role in learning-m emory, just like nitric oxide that can influence on the long- term potentiation , regulate neurotransmitters, and regulate blood flow and influ ence nerve grow th, and gene expression. By using of docum entary analysis, the authors discuss the relationship be- tw een learning-m emory and nitric oxide, exercise respectively. Furthermore, it w as suggested that possible mechanism s for exercise and learning- memory by the effect of nitric oxide.
