The architecture ismade up by three modules, namely the module of editing, module of calculation and module of graphic displaying, and the data can be processed by the interfaces among these modules. W ith analysis of modules in the systematic architecture, various types ofwaveguides can be plotted, while the field distribution calcu lation and graphics visualization displaying ofwaveguides smi ulating results can be finished by the smi ulation soft ware. And finally a smi ulation course of an example and the comparison of the results prove the validity of this soft ware system and its application value in the optical research.
