Meanwhile,track and field sports should not express its athletic value of speed, great distance or height only by means of time, distance or height, but through introdu cing the athletic values of speed and rhythm, distance and height and accuracy.T hrough reforming contest methods and athletic evaluation values, the current status of track and field teaching,which focuses on techniques and centers around contests and exams, can be changed so that students can start to combine the learning of sports techniques with rec reation through a comprehensive development of contest methods.
