高考英语对强调句型的考查 对强调句型的考查是近年高考命题的一个热点话题，同时也是高中英语教学中应该掌握的一个内容。笔者将强调句型的各种形式结合近年高考题进行如下的总结、归纳： 一、强调句型的结构和用法 当我们要强调句子的某个成分（通常是主语、宾语或状语）时，常用强调句型： It is/ was+被强调部分+that+句子的其他部分 但强调句型不能用来强调谓语动词和同位语。当被强调部分是人时，可用who, whom代替that。 It was in the room where Mr. Li lived that the meeting was held. 会议是在李先生住过的房间举办的。 It was the way he asked that really upset me. 他提问的方式的确让我很不舒服。 高考例1、 It is the ability to do the job _______ matters not where you come from or what you are. 划线的为正确答案，下同 A. one B. that C. what D. it 强调句型也可用来强调由when, because引导的时间和原因状语从句。 It was when she was about to go to bed that the telephone rang. 正当她要睡觉的时候，电话铃响了。 It was because he did not work hard that he failed in the exam. 就是因为他没用功学习，所以考试没及格。 高考例2、It was only when I reread his poems recently _____ I began to appreciate their beauty. A. that B. until C. before D. when 二、强调句型应注意的几个问题 （1）强调句型的陈述式： It is/ was+被强调部分+that/who m +句子的其他部分 （2）强调句型的疑问式： 一般疑问式： Is/ Was it +被强调部分+that/who m +句子的其他部分 Was it during the Second World War that he died?他是在二战期间死去的吗？ b.特殊疑问式：特殊疑问词+is/ was it+ that +其他 Where was it that you picked up the purse? 你在哪里捡到这个钱包的？ 高考例4、Why!
