This paper presents a digital temperature measurement system based on embedded development board.Hardware,this system composed by the TQ-2440 board of Tian-Qian Company,and the DS18B20 temperature sensors of DALLAS Company.Among these,TQ-2440 use the ARM9 chips s3c2440 of Samsung.DS18B20 use a unique single-wire interface,and 1-WIRE BUS transport protocol.Software,TQ-2440 ported the embedded Linux operating system and the Qt GUI library.Driver of DS18B20 is written in C language.Qt application is written in C++ language. This design follows the general process of embedded system development:first configure the BootLoader as the system boot,and then cut and compile the Linux kernel,and then and then write the driver of sensor and application procedures.The final make the YAFFS root file system.Write these into the board to complete the development of the embedded system. The system functions through Qt application.It can show the immediate temperature,set temperature limit,and alarm when the temperature exceeds the limit.The functions is simple and practical.It can be use in a variety of systems occasions.
