    placetoprotectwomensrights.Conversely,EMEuroperecordsthemostequaloutcomesforwomen,drivenby

    thenumberoflawsinplacetoprotectwomensrightsandbetterhealthandeducationoutcomes.

    •ToassesshowinvestingbasedonWomenomicscanimpactinvestmentreturns,welookathowourWomenomics

    IndexcorrelateswithsovereignratingsandUSDbondspreads,andwebacktestlong-shortbasketsoftheUSD

    bondspreadsofthe8highest-andlowest-scoringcountriesonourWomenomicsIndexranking.Sovereignsthat

    scorehigherongenderequalitytendtohavehigherratingsandtighterspreads.Consistentwiththis,investing

    basedongenderequalityinEMsovereignswouldhaveyieldedsomeoutperformanceovertime,ledbyprotection

    duringdrawdowns.
