摘要

海洋是人类社会生存和可持续发展的重要物质基础，海军建设对国家发展也有至关

重要的影响，因此有关海洋海军文献的翻译研究对海军发展具有重要影响作用。科技翻

译以内容、读者为中心，讲求传递信息，变译理论运用变通的手段，在翻译过程中灵活

变通，可使科技翻译更简明准确，更加贴合受众。基于以上观点，本文选取《21世纪的

海军工程：未来海军舰队科学技术基础》第五章为翻译材料，以变译理论为指导，探究

海洋海军科技英语的汉译策略。本论文从词汇、句子层面运用变译理论指导文本翻译，

采用七种变译策略中的编、减、并三种策略，对翻译材料进行指导。科技文本最重要的

就是有效传达信息，使受众清晰接收，变译不光在宏观层面对词语进行重构，在句法层

面也进行调整，以达到让目的语读者理解的基本要求并保证科技文本的准确性。

Technologytranslationiscenteredaroundcontentandreaders,stressingthetransmissionof

information.TranslationVariationTheoryappliesflexiblemeansinthetranslationprocess,

whichcanmaketechnologytranslationmoreconcise,accurate,andappropriateforthe

audience.BasedontheviewpointsaboveandguidedbyTranslationVariationTheory,this

articleselectsChapter5ofNavalEngineeringinthe21stCenturyasthetranslationmaterial,

toexploreE-CChinesetranslationstrategiesofScienceandTechnologyEnglish.Thispaper

appliesTranslationVariationTheoryatthelexicalandsentencelevelstoguidethetranslation,

usingthreestrategiesofediting,reducing,andmergingamongtheseventranslationvariation

strategies.Themostimportantaspectoftechnologytextsistoeffectivelyconveyinformation,

makingitcleartothetargetreaders.Translationnotonlyinvolvesreconstructingwordsata

macrolevel,butalsoadjustingsyntaxtomeetthebasicrequirementsofunderstandingthe

targetlanguagereadersandensuretheaccuracyoftechnologicaltexts.
