英语中一些多音节的形容词、副词,其比较级形式是在该词前加more。除了多音节形容词、副词变比较级要用more之外,部分双音节的词,如careful,tiring,boring,slowly等比较级也是在词前加more。由此可见,多音节形容词及部分双音节形容词、副词比较级的句式结构为：

A+谓语+more+多音节形容词/部分双音节形容词/副词+than+B。
