Teaching procedures : Lead-in To show pictures and bring in some useful words and expressions in the text, and then introduce the topic Getting Around in Beijing Step 2: Means of transport (Reading and vocabulary on page 12) Task1: Look through the passage and find the answers to the questions. Task2: Read the passage and fill in the form. Task3: Fill in the blanks to learn more about the public transport. Task4: Oral practice: Give Tom some advice about means of transport in Beijing through wechat. Step 3: Traffic Jam Watch a short video and fill in the blanks to learn about the poor traffic conditions. Step 4: Discussion in groups: Brainstorm to analyze the reasons and find out the solution to the traffic jam as many as possible.
