Teaching aims: Knowledge Objectives: Through recalling the activities in junior high school and looking forward to the future to write a composition. Get the students to use some useful expressions to describe their feelings . Let the students to grasp the basic structure of the composition. Make the students use the writing techniques freely. Ability Objectives: Improve the students’ writing ability and let them master some writing techniques. Train the students ability to work together . Moral Objectives: Through activities, guide students to learn how to describe their feelings, at the same time express their obligations.? Share past memories and experiences and look ahead to the future. Encourage the students to study hard. II. Teaching important points: Lead the students to write the composition about the unforgettable junior high school life, describe the present situations and express the visions of the future. III. Teaching difficult points: Enable the students to master the writing techniques and useful expressions. Step 1. Warming- up  Show an electronic album and play an English song “Yesterday once more”. 设计意图:激趣策略,通过观看师生三年来校园活动的照片来唤醒学生的记忆以及各种情感,激发学生的学习兴趣,有效提高本节课的学习效率。 Step 2.Brainstorming   Have a match.Divide the class into three teams. Ask the students to use one piece of chalk to write down an adjective one by one to express their moods. Explain the group incentive mechanism. 设计意图:小组竞赛,奖励机制。培养学生竞争意识及积极,主动运用已有的语言知识回答问题能力。创造宽松愉悦的课堂氛围。 Step3. Presentation Lead the students to say out the word “ unforgettable ” 2.Talk about: What is this event that you will never forget ? When and where did this event happen? ? Who appeared in this event ? How did this event make you feel? Why can’t you forget this event? 3.Give the students a composition template. 4. Ask the students to give an oral composition according to it. 设计意图:承上启下。承上,根据问答内容及作文模板,让学生按一定逻辑思路整理出一个初步的写作思路,并进行口头作文;启下,为下面的习作进行内容方面的积累。 Step 4. Analyze the composition Show the past exam paper。
