ABSTRACTWith ABSTRACT With the improvement of the social security system，orphans，as special group takes much more attention of society．Traditional child welfare agencies is mainly to solve their life issues，lack of family environment resulting in lacking basic security and the opportunities of intimacy experience with the family．SOS Children’S Villages as international child welfare agency,is the main advocate and practitioner by upbringing and education orphans in family．the space environment of Children’S Village，as these children’S daily lives carrier,its quality is directly related to the healthy growth of children． By using a scientific approach to study the space environment of domestic SOS Children’S Village．through series of field research，analyze and summarize the status， advantages and disadvantages ofthe children village，considering SOS Children’S space and environment demands in terms of physical，psychological and lifestyle，learn from outstanding domestic and foreign architectural design cases，try to provide some suggestions and countermeasures for the Chinese SOS children’S village space and environment design，also，enrich the child welfare architectural design content．Here， we focus the architecture design problems of SOS Children’S Village，especially the treatment of indoor and outdoor space environment design．By this research，We hope to improve the living environment with their SOS Children’S physical，psychological fit，and these orphans have better family life experience．Protecting Child residential security,improve the children’S ability to communicate with the outside world，creating favorable and comfortable environment for the children growth． Therefore，based the results of quantitative analysis actual state research，theoretical research related to the SOS Children’S psychological，reference related content of children space design，from the relationship between SOS Children and the space environment，the spatial behavior characteristics of the SOS Ch
