Inventory management is an important part of the supply chain management and a key issue, which implement cooperation between enterprises in the supply chain (SC) and integrated management of SC. In the supply chain management, inventory level not only affects comprehensive cost of a single enterprise, but also restricts performance of the entire SC. Enterprises should be the characteristics of their own, find their own inventory management mode based on supply chain management, reduce inventory costs should be taken to keep the current position in competition. Due to particularity of product, production and distribution systems inventory performance of pharmaceutical enterprises is not ideal in the modern manufacturing. After1990s Cost pressures of pharmaceutical enterprises increasing, thus major pharmaceutical enterprises began to step up the management of SC and reduce inventory is one of the main activities. In this paper, for the shortcomings and inadequacies of Traditional inventory control methods in SC management environment, combined with the latest theory and practice, we detailed analysis of existing problems, which inventory management mode of C pharmaceutical company in SC environment, and put forward concrete strategies to improve inventory model. First of all, bases on concept of inventory control management were analyzed general problem of inventory management in SC environment； the second, on that basis analysis of problems and status of inventory management (JMI) in C pharmaceutical company, and analysis of three types advanced new method in force, including Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Joint Management Inventory (JMI) and Collaborative Planning Forecasting Replenishment (CPRF).
