The competition of companies is gradually changing to the competition of supply chains. Along with the development of information technology and internet technology and the globalization of economic, the competition environment of companies becomes harder and harder. The companies realize more and more that they are not fighting with each other, but should fight together to fulfill the consumers requirements. Which means that their real competitors are not those who in the same supply chain, but should be those who are in other supply chain. We can see, currently the business competition is not simply as before between companies, but becomes supply chains. However, the market is cruel, each company will fight for the maximum of margin of their own. Since the optimization of whole supply chain does not mean that each company in it can get cost optimization, also, not each CEO makes decision base on the same theory, in reality, it is very difficult to make each company to cooperate for perfect optimization of whole supply chain. But this doesnt mean the theory is meaningless, especially for those International Group who has internal supply chain among subsidiary groups. The aim of this text is to study this cooperative police deeply, and base on the S-F-R 3 stage supply chain model to analyze A Group supply chains inventory strategy and provide proposal to improve it. The detail research content is as follow: The dissertation sums up influential factors and essential conditions of implementing VMI system .Practice can enable the vendor to respond to demand in the retail chain and improve the efficiency of the whole supply chain .But, the running of VMI systems is a complicated process.
