万方数据 万方数据 Abstract Composites from Rock and Soil is used to civil engineering as high slope, waste pile, tailing dam etc., which is of large mass, if it collapsed, the results will be serious. Composites from Rock and Soil consists of many materials, and it’s of high uneven, and its strength is low and deformation is high, the difference of each diameter is large so it will destroy unpredictably. To study the characteristic of acoustic emission, several kinds of composites are tested under uniaxial compression, which were described in detail as follows. Research status at home and abroad was summarized, the main achievement and HYPERLINK /w/iodine_deficiency/ deficiency were analyzed: there were many research about the characteristic of acoustic emission on rock far more than the research on soil. The research on composites from rock and roil was especially insufficient. The basic principle of acoustic emission was studied, and the main methods to deal with the signal of acoustic emission were summarized. (3)A series of experiment of composites were designed and the characteristic of acoustic emission was obtained. The experiment showed that two kinds of composites, as powdered rock, powdered rock and small stones had different failure mode because of the different plasticity. (4)The influence of the plasticity to the characteristic of acoustic emission was studied through the comparative study of kinds of composites with different plasticity. The composites of powdered rock has AE with low frequency and amplitude because of the high plasticity. The experiment on composites of powdered rock and small stones showed that: the numbers of AE large matter obviously decreased or dispelled during the loading process of 75-80 percent of sample peek load, named as inactive period of AE. The results shows that: the failure of samples of rock and gypsum composite is of brittleness; there is II AE large event at the beginning of loading, the numbers of AE large matter obvious
