STANDARDS OF DIPLOMA THESIS REQUIRED IN SKARBEK I. Substantive requirements of diploma thesis 1) Diploma thesis is an individual study of student prepared with an assistance of supervisor. It should include the following elements: representing the problem and defining the aim of thesis, using the specific research methods, analyzing the problem, making the presentation and discussing the results of analysis, formulating the conclusions 2) Preparation of diploma thesis by student should form abilities like: - developing knowledge by studying the existing research works, - diagnosing and assessing the problem in the given business entity or institution, - creating new solutions or modification of existing solutions, - using the research workshop, including the research work methods, - conducting the logical process of arguments, - identification and analyzing the surrounding phenomena, - noticing the accuracy occurring within those phenomena, - specification of the phenomena and making the conclusions, - relating the problems to the subject literature, - using the clear and precise language 3) The author of thesis should choose the appropriate literature, use competently the adequate research methods adjusted to the character and field of the thesis, make logical argumentation, correctly formulate conclusions and individually formulate the arguments and estimations. Student as the author of the thesis is responsible for originality and reliability of enclosed materials in the thesis. 4) Bachelor thesis can be in descriptive form. Master thesis should present results of the individually made research. II. The structure of diploma thesis The structure of master thesis includes the following elements: Title page (the first page of thesis) should include: the name of university, department, major of study, name and surname of the thesis author, number of index, thesis title, formulation concerning under who the thesis was prepared, and text inclu
