Teaching Aids Some pictures,a map,multimedia and a blackboard. Teaching Procedures Step 1 Introduction T: Good morning, boys and girls! T: Look at the picture in your book. What can you see? S: I can see mountains, river, peak and Cliff (valley, slope, wood are mentioned.) T: Good, We can see cliffs,valley,slope,peaks,wood and so on. Now let’s look and read the words in the box in your books. And finish the Activity 2. Suggested answers: 1.valley 2.plain 3.shore 4.slope 5.Cliffs 6.peak 7.lake 8.wood 9.cave 10.plateau T: So much for the new words. Next, come to Activity 3. You all know the Yangtze River, how much do you know about it? OK, let’s do a quiz. Suggested answers: 1.c ’d like to talk about the boat, the scenery and life along the river.
