Investigation on the Present Situation of the Table Tennis Item Development in All Levels Spare-time Physical Education School in Guangdong Province and Research on CountermeasuresAbstractThe main goal of this thesis is to make a research from the basic training in spare-time physical education school of Guangdong Province, find out the present situation of the table tennis item development through investigation and the existing problems, bring forward the corresponding countermeasures, provide some advice to the table tennis training, enable the youth table tennis training in Guangdong Province to develop benignly, supply the professional teams with more and higher level talents specialized team.By means of literature and information, expert review, questionnaire，mathematical statisticsand logical induction, through questionnaire to the coaches and players in 17 spare-time physical education schools of all levels in Guangdong Province, this thesis makes a comprehensive evaluation to the present situation of the youth’s table tennis item development from perspectives of infrastructure hardware, the state of coaches, the state of students, the state of the introduced coaches and students, and the state of the reserve talents, and brings forward some countermeasures for the development of the table tennis item in Guangdong Province.We discovered that the hardware for table tennis item in spare-time physical educationschools can fully meet the need of everyday training. The coaches are high-level, and the proportion of coaches to the students is appropriate. The training situation satisfies the training need. The hold method is out of good proportion.
