AbstractSprayingcompositepowderwaspreparedbymechanicalgrindingmethodandagglomerationmethod.Usingcommonsprayingmethod,SHSreactionsprayingmethodandthermalchemicalreactionsprayingmethod,commonsprayingceramiccoating,SHSreactionsprayingceramiccoatingandthermo-chemicalreactionsprayingceramiccoatingwereproducedonmagnesiumalloyAZ31B.XRDandSEMwereusedtoanalyzethecompositionand morphologyofthecompositepowderandcompositeceramiccoating.Thethermalshock, compactness,microhardness,wearpropertiesandcorrosionresistanceofthecompositeceramiccoatingwereinvestigated.ThemeltingrateofSHSreactionsprayingceramiccoatingandthermo-chemicalreactionsprayingceramiccoatingwashighandthecombinationofthecoatingandmatrixwaswell.Mg element tookplacediffusionintheinterface ofcompositecoating.TiB2,MgAl2O4andsoon werefoundintheSHSreactionsprayingceramiccoating.Thermo-chemicalreactionwascarriedoutintheprocessofpreparingcoatings.Al3.21Si0.47,MgAl2O4,Mg3.5Al9Si1.5O20andsoonwerefound inthecoating.Thethermal-shocktimesofthesetwokindofceramiccoatingwas47and37,theporositywas0%afterholesealingwithvarnish,themaximamicrohardnessvaluereached1224 HV0.1and1016HV0.1.Wearpropertiesandcorrosionresistanceofthesetwokindofceramiccoatingwasfarhigherthanmagnesiumalloysubstrate.Thethermalshock,compactness, microhardness,wearpropertiesandcorrosionresistanceofthesetwokindofceramiccoatingwas significantlybetterthancommonsprayingcoating.Comparewithmechanicalgrindingmethodandagglomerationmethod,thermitereactionhadhappenedincompositepowderafter12hoursball millingandglobularstructurecoatedeachotherwasformedaftergranulationwithagglomerationmethod.Thesprayingcompositepowder reactedfullyinsprayingprocessandhigh qualityceramiccoatingwasformedbyagglomerationmethod.Themorenewphasewasproducedinceramiccoatingandthethermalshock, compactness,wearpropertiesandcorrosionresistancewassignificantlybetterthantheceramiccoatingwithmechanicalgrindingmethod.KeyWords：magnesiumalloy；SHSreactionspraying；thermo-chemicalreactionspraying；ceramic；performance目录
