Activity 2: Let’s singShow the children the hand-make rainbow; introduce the children to the topic by telling them that they are going to sing a new song about “rainbow”. Talk about it by asking what it is, where they can see it, how many colours they can see, what colour they are, etc.Introduce the children to the key vocabulary of colour, show the colour cards in turns, and stick them on the board. Point to them one by one; invite the children to join in by imitating. Check pronunciation carefully.Play a tape; ask the children to listen and stick the word cards alongside the colour cards accordingly.Lead the children by singing one verse by one verse.The children sin the song on their own. Activity 3:Get the children to do activity 3, ask them to colour the flags. Activity 4:Elicit form the children what they have learnt today. Remind them to sing the song to their parents.
