Abstract With the rapid development of Chinese economy and acceleration of urbanization process, the contradiction between people and land in the city is increasing, especially the housing problem of low-income people has became an urgent social problems that need to be solved. To solve this problem, the government has proposed to extend the scope of housing security, and increase low-cost housing construction. At present our country low-rent housing construction has just started, Dwelling size design lack of systematic research, is a stage, no relevant guidelines.
