There is an appropriate structure of dedicated practitioners who provide a team approach to safeguarding vulnerable people. The safeguarding policies and guidelines are being systematically revised. The trust has a safeguarding training strategy for staff. Systems, processes and policies are constantly under review to ensure that they comply with local and national guidance. The trust is actively represented in the wider safeguarding arena and is committed to integrated working with our colleagues from other agencies. Recommendation To note the report for information and to receive this as assurance that focus is given to safeguarding vulnerable adults, children and young people.
