读故事记2013高考词汇D4 I was worried about Marry, my dog. He would leave the house and go somewhere distant. One day I discovered him running around two districts from where we lived. He always came home dirty and tired. Recently, I found out he has not disturbed his dog dish of food in days. I didn’t know what to do. I had a discussion a with my parents and they told me I should take him to the doctors to see if he had a disease. The doctor discouraged me from being in the exam room. He told the nurse not to disturb him and Marry and closed the large double doors behind him. After half an hour the doctor came out to discuss with me. I have made no discovery in what is causing this change in Marry. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with an illness. Unable to do anything, I left with Marry. Three days later, I went to have lunch with a friend who was a doctor in physics. While the dishes wear being served. I thought I saw Marry outside of the window. I had doubts it was him but he had been acting strangely these past few days. Marry was with another dog and its owner. I told my friend I had to leave and placed a few dollars on the table for lunch. I walked out and started to talk to the owner of the other dog and was finally able to understand why Marry had been acting so strangely. Kate, the other dog, was Marry’s girlfriend.
