Step One: Greetings (30’’)
T: Good morning, everyone.
S: Good morning, .teacher.
Step Two: review the old language points (10’)
T: Last week, we have learned some interesting animals and their name, do you still remember them?
S: Yes
T: Can you tell me the names of these animals? Now I will show you the pictures of these animals, and you should tell the names of them. (the teacher show the picture and the students say out the animals, and then teacher write the names on the blackboard)
S: tiger, elephant, koala, dolphin, panda, lion, penguin, giraffe.
T: Ok, do you still remember how to ask reasons?
S: Yes, why do you like...
T: 比如说:你为什么喜欢狮子
S: Why do you like lions?
T: And how to answer the question?
S: Because it’s interesting.
T: (the teacher let the students to practice the sentences)
Step Three: Give new lessons and introduce new words(10’)
T: Now we are going to learn more description words. If we want to say some animal is lovely(可爱的), how can we say it in English?
S: cute
T: If we want to say: 考拉很可爱,怎么说?
S: Koalas are cute.
T: Ok, good job, please read after me cute.
S: (read fellow the teacher)
T: Teacher introduce the other words in the same way (fun, smart), and the let the student familiar with the words.
