But there are too more unsaturated hydrocarbons and oxygen2 ,nitrogen2 , sulfur2 containing compounds in the diesel fraction from shale oil than that in crude oil, which makes it difficult to use directly. The properties of shale oil are introduced,the process status of shale oil, described, and its de eloping trend, iewed.
