I. The analysis of teaching materials
1. The content of the teaching material
The first part of the unit 2a to 2c of Section A of Unit 6 in the eight grades.
2. The position and the function of the teaching material
We know the main content of this unit is about comparing people and things. It can create a lot of interesting situation. Therefore, it will be an interesting topic for students, and according to this unit, students know how to use the comparatives with er/ier and more to compare people and things.
In 2a to 2c of Section A, we will make up some activities. The activities will present the key words and target language to improve students’ integrating skills.
The grammar focus on giving the students the target language, and helping them to find out the regulations to learn the contents of this unit.
II. The teaching aims
