Most difficult Western countries I think the most difficult Western countries are Britain, France, Switzerland, USA, which are ordered from most difficult to least for me. Following parts I will state the characteristic of these 5 cultures in obvious and the hidden aspects respectively. Britain: Obvious aspects: Architectural styles in Britain is traditional and classical and many architectures are in the form of castles and churches, such as the White Tower in London. British typical food is fish and chips, which is haddock deep friend in batter that would not be considered for Chinese. People in England think highly of their dressing, they always dress well when they go out even though in the informal situation. I just like wear T-shirts and jeans except for some formal place. Hidden aspects: 1. The British are overcautious, they are very courteous and polite, when we stay with British, we must pay high attention to details of our manner and words which make us feel not easy. Besides, British will always stay gentle even though you are very angry. 2.Britain is a multifaith socitety and religions play an important role in people’s life and many people practice more than one religion. France: Obvious aspects: Meals in France range from the very basic,such as the traditional baguette plus cheese plus inexpensive wine. Much of the French cuisine is fairly simple, relying on high quality ingredients. There are many magnificent Architectures in France, such ad Denis Basilica, Saint Louis’s Sainte Chapelle and Reims, which are very famous and attract thousands of visitors every year. Hidden aspects: 1.Christianity is the most popular religion in France and the freedom of religion is considered as a constitutional right. 2.French are very good at social contact, they are good talker, and they dislike those people who do not like talking. 3.French pursuit freedom but they are not behave well with principle. French saved their self-respect forever in all situation.
