海洋生物学与实验课程教学大纲 课程代码 课程中文名称：海洋生物学与实验 课程英文名称：Marine Biology and Practice 学分：4.0 周学时：3.0-2.0 面向对象： 预修要求：海洋概论、海洋科学概论、普通生物学 一、课程介绍 （一）中文简介 《海洋生物学及实验》是研究和了解海洋生物的生命现象和活动规律的科学。课程主要内容 是讲解各类海洋植物和动物的形态、分类、分布、发育和生长、生理、生化和遗传、共生共 栖现象等，以及生态和经济意义，以便合理开发利用海洋浮游生物、底栖生物等方面的海洋 生物资源。课程采用课堂讲解、多媒体演示、实验操作、现场参观等多种手段，调动学生的 动手动脑能力。通过本课程的学习，学生能基本掌握海洋生物学的基本理论知识和调查研究 方法，能认识我国海区一些主要而常见的海洋生物种类，了解它们的生理生态特征及其时空 变动规律，并在舟山群岛海域完成海洋生物调查方面的野外实习等。 （二）英文简介 “Marine Biology and Practice” is the scientific study of the abiotic and biotic characteristics of the ocean and their interactions, including habitats of marine organisms, marine biodiversity, marine ecology and human activities effect. Marine biology is focus on studying the origin of life and evolution in the ocean, the classification, distribution, growth, physiology, biochemistry, heredity of marine organisms and marine ecology. Marine life is a vast resource, providing food, medicine, and raw materials, in addition to helping to support recreation and tourism all over the world. At a fundamental level, marine life helps determine the very nature of our planet. Therefore, to understand the nature of life, the characteristic of marine organisms, and the relationship between organisms and the environment is the most important knowledge and technology for human beings. Demonstrations, lab practices, and videos will be used to supplement classroom lecture and discussion. The inquiry approach to learning science will be used through the use of hands-on / minds-on activities. In addition the students will use the Internet to conduct research.
