M echan ism s o s ilver b iosorpt ion by A erom ona s SH 10 w ere d iscu ssed rom several aspects such as electrostat ic adsorpt ion, ion ex change, comp lexat ion and deposition. R esu lts show ed that s ilver b iosorpt ion by SH 10 d idn t m ain ly dep end on ion ex change duo to on ly slight increase o the conten ts o N a+ , K + , M g2+ in so lut ion a ter b iosorp tion, wh ile electrostat ic adsorpt ion was ound to b e respon sib le or biosorpt ion. A dsorpt ive capacity o silver ion decreased d ist inctly a ter un ct ional group s such as carboxyl, am ino and lipid group s on SH 10 cell w all w ere ch em ically mod i ied, respect ively. C om bined w ith F
