Methods 19 patients w ith lumber vertebra tumors w ere reported. T he w ere diagnosed under CT guidance percutaneous or transpedicular puncture biops . Surgical treatment st rateg combined with preoperative W BB staging assessment. After the respectabilit of tumors, titan cage or iliac bone was used for reconstruction and Zplate were used as fixation s stem. Results 19 cases w ere performed biops , of which 18 cases got pathologic results and 1 failed, and no com plication occurred in this group. After surgical treatment, the lumber pain and related leg pain were disappeared or relieved . All patients were follow ed up for 2~ 3 6 months. There w as instabilit of Zplate in onl one case. no internal fixat ion breakage and height lose w as found during followup period. Conclusion It is an effect ive and reliable wa to perform percutaneous or transpedicular puncture biops under CT guidance in diagnosis of lumber vertebra tumors. After the respectabilit of tumors , titan cage and Zplate s stem w ere an ideal w a for reconstruction.
