TheCH S gene incl ded the open read ing fram e( ORF), and itw as cons isted of 1173bp n cleic acid, enco- ded 391 am ino acid resid es. Compared w ith otherCH S genes from citr s p lant, it w as fo nd that they shared a seq ence hom ology m ore than 98% at the n cleic acid level.
